We're excited to announce that Food Fight is now available on the Android Marketplace! It does require Android 2.2 (it works on 2.1, but takes several goes to start up for the Galaxy S users we've tested with). It is also listed as version 1.0 on Android, but is the equivalent of the 1.1 that is currently in review with Apple - it has the Read To Me modes that we're waiting to be available on iOS.
We've submitted version 1.1 of Food Fight to the App store. It is a huge update, with new features and the bug fix for the 3G devices not working properly. The feature list as it stands: ✭ Studio recorded readalong by the author of the book, Glenn Melenhorst. ✭ Word by word narration - touch a word to have it read to you. ✭ Automatic page turn option to have the whole book read to you, or Reads As You Turn. ✭ Mini map ...
Update is a day or so away from submitting. New is the 'read to me' mode read by Glenn himself - it sounds great. Also a way to jump from page to page, and a bugfix for taking a restart and two goes to start on the 3G class devices.
The problem with not loading on pre-3GS devices has been confirmed and will be addressed in the next update - as a workaround, rebooting the device and then starting twice should allow FoodFight to open, but this is by no means ideal and we will address the issue.
Voice over has been recorded! Huge thanks to the crew at Flagstaff. Now to integrate.
Checked iTunes this morning and we are number 1 in the iPad book sales, number 3 in iphone in the US! Number 2 in UK iPad sales!
Not sure why they aren't appearing as they should on the store - I've resaved and reuploaded the screenshots just to make sure, though it'll take a while for them to update no doubt. We've had several unsolicited review requests come in already, things are moving along! Edit: Working now!
