Can you please tell me if i can convert a digitally recorded sound to a perforated tape using music box composer? I am working with ‘found objects’ in my art projects - for example, 3d scanning objects and then rebuilding them using digital manufacturing techniques or by re-using the materials. I would like to make recordings of the soundscapes where the objects have been found and then work with them in different ways - one being to build music boxes into the plinths of art works, so that interpretations of the soundscapes can be played by the audience. I realise that the converted sounds to music box would not be much like the original, but i am interested in how the process of conversion abstracts the source material.
