It seems that if you adjust the tempo to zero and then apply the time to any pieces it freezes and eventually crashes the program. Was basically trying to take a section that was a little too close together (ie illegal notes highlighted). So I'd guess that this would probably either have to be done setting and applying twice with a 0.5 setting or just manually spaced out?

Applying a tempo of zero shouldn't be supported - that'd be a divide by zero error, I'll updated to fix that.

The apply time currently doesn't support selections, I'll also add that in as a feature for a future release (you could scale the entire strip, copy the bit you want, undo the scale and then paste the scaled notes in as a workaround).
