If RPManager is very slow to open / messaging each time 3dsmax starts

If RPM is very slow to open or you see a message about maxscript memory size being increased each time you restart 3dsmax, it's very likely to be a windows permissions issue - please see this thread:

You can test this fairly quickly be using the 'run as administrator' right click explorer option to start 3dsmax - you can make this option the default for starting 3dsmax, but this doesn't work for everyone as it can change access to network drives depending on the setup.
Issues with permissions can also cause backburner submissions to fail.
