Local renders going to network rendering.

Postby tangiblevisual » Fri May 18, 2018 10:27 am

Hi Grant,

I have an issue in my master scene, it's not happening in a fresh scene so it's perhaps not a RPmanager bug as such.

When I try to render locally it submits to backbuner, this is the same if I do it from the Max render dialogue or from RPmanager "Local Render".

On testing I've merged the RPManager data into a fresh scene (from my Master scene) and the same thing happens, local renders go to network rendering. So it seems it is caused by something within the RPManager data.

Cheers

Dan

Hi

In the RPM Common tab next to the 'Vfb' checkbox, there is a 'Netrender' checkbox - is this on? (With that on you would see the behavior you are describing - the mode has been in there since very early on: it allows bypassing the RPM submission and - one pass at a time - submits using the standard BB submission.)

cheers,
grant

Yes, That's it thanks!

Incidentally, even though I've enabled email notifications to forum posts in the settings I'm not getting any.
