I''ll look at it again - you should be able to see the suspended job on the farm before it unsuspends (you can force it to be longer by opening monitor and connecting, and then wait for the timeout when the dialog shows that something (RPM) is requesting queue control.)

The queue control thing is just the way they have designed Backburner. A manager like Deadline has no such issues (and doesn't submit frames to multiple slaves).

cheers,

Grant please disregard my last reply. I fucked something up. Just tested again and it does work on the one job I just tested. I also clearly saw the job enter as suspended, then ask for permission to the queue, and activate itself.

- in other words: It werkz!! Good job, and thanks :)
Should something go wrong in the coming days or weeks while we implement it in the entire office, I'll update this thread.

Thanks again.

/Nick
