VRay Render Setup : Missing Option

Hello,

We just found out there is a missing option in the RP dialog menu Vs the 3Ds Default (F10) Render Dialog Box.

There is no "Separate Folder" checkbox option. (See red circle)
And the "Expand # to frame number" is in the wrong Sub-menu. That can be confusing.

Is the check boxes somewhere else or you need to add them ?

Is there a reason why you don't specify this in the auto path generation settings?

Are you referring to the auto path generation settings in the elements tab ?

Because i already tried to do this. it only create a sub-folder with all the passes folder but the render elements are no saving in those folders. Everything saves in the V-Ray Frame Buffer Output path.

And the "Enable Auto Path Generation on Submit" in the common tab do not create the sub-folder either.

I see - but if you haven't defined your output in the Output Preferences dropdown/menu, then it does not know where to store your images and elements. It needs to be set up here.

so to get the elements split out in different folders, your target should be something like (render root folder)/Pass name/Element name/Element name
and whatever additional designations you want.

Remember to set it up for the main render pass also - then elements below that from the same menu.

- sorry if this is already known to you, but it seems to me like you skipped that part. Or maybe I wasn't paying attention
